The artifact below shows a picture I drew for my students to help manage classroom procedures. Students were doing a math activity that involved moving around the classroom and their job was determined by the color of the card they had. Here students were responsible for their productivity because it was their job to find partners with the opposite color card. Frontloading expectations made transitions happen more seamless and everyone was aware of what their job was and what they were suppose to do.
